The industry faced a significant challenge: the former bag closing method, sealing, caused considerable production downtime. After an intensive research phase, which included discussions with market users and visits to various factories in the sector, the perfect folding technique was discovered. What would traditionally be done manually—first folding and then gently tucking—had to be replicated, if not improved, by the machine.
