Job Duties
Test packaging automation solutions according to customer specifications, replicate customer production environment, and apply knowledge of a broad range of industries to identify potential failure points. Validate packaging automation solutions in the customers production environments and ensure the customers specifications and contractual obligations are met. Improve packaging automation solution proposals specific to market segments, apply information learned from past testing and validate exercises to avoid repeated mistakes and efficiency losses. Conduct review of electrical and mechanical drawings, as well as suggested updates. Conduct software review, maintenance, and evaluate improvements suggested via Engineering Change Requests.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have two (2) years of experience with: Electro-Mechanical pneumatics comprehension; Industrial software engineering in Beckhoff TwinCat2 and TwinCat3; prototype testing of packaging equipment, documenting results, identifying improvements and relaying feedback to engineering and R&D; start-up and commissioning of packaging equipment in industrial factories; Electrical control panel design in ePlan; and Legacy Automation Software such as Siemens Step 7. Domestic and international business travel required up to 40% of the time. Travel expenses covered by Pattyn North America, Inc.
Our offer
Salary: $92,500 – 125,000 / year
Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)
