Pattyn North America is looking for a Sales Assistant to help our the growing markets of the Midwest and East Coast.
This position would support our Midwest and East Coast Sales Managers in achieving sales and marketing goals by coordinating customer communication, preparing proposals, and managing sales data. You would also serve as a key link between customers and the factory, assisting with order tracking, database upkeep, and sales analysis.
Pattyn North America is a fast-growing company with state-of-the-art equipment mainly targeting the food industry.
Your responsibilities
- Support the sales team by preparing and organizing proposals, contracts, and bid specifications.
- Assist in quoting prices, terms, and other bid details for customers.
- Maintain and organize the sales database, ensuring accurate tracking of inquiries and contacts.
- Coordinate with the internal pre-sales team to secure properly configured layouts and quotes.
- Process and manage customer orders, including generating order handling in coordination with the sales team.
- Travel with the Sales Director and Regional Sales Managers to support client meetings and sales initiatives.
- Work alongside Sales Managers to ensure all project documents are up-to-date, complete, and properly stored.
Your qualifications
Primary qualifications:
- Proactive, organized, and self-motivated with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Skilled in customer communication via phone, virtual meetings, and email to gather information and translate challenges into solutions.
- Capable of presenting and explaining solutions to internal sales managers.
- Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM software.
- Able to compile and analyze information to develop automation solutions within Pattyn's capabilities.
Secondary qualifications:
- Experience with CRMs (Dynamics is preferred)
- Experience with quoting software (QuoteWerks / QuickBooks)
- B2B sales experience, business development and industrial equipment sales
